Welcome to Qiyuan Teaset. By accessing and purchasing goods on our website, you accept these Terms of Service. Please read carefully before placing an order. These terms apply to all sales to customers inside and outside the European Union and United Kingdom.
1. Product & Pricing Information
All products are handmade Chinese gongfu teaware, shipped from China. Product photos are for reference only; minor differences in glaze, texture and hand-carved details may exist for handmade ceramic items. All prices displayed on the website include applicable IOSS VAT for EU customers. UK customers will see relevant tax information at checkout. Shipping fees are shown clearly at checkout before payment. We reserve the right to correct price errors without prior notice.
2. Order & Payment
After you submit payment, we will confirm your order via email. We accept payment methods shown on our checkout page. Ownership of goods transfers to you only after full payment is received. 3. Delivery & Customs
All items ship from China. The total order amount covers applicable customs duties and shipping costs. Certain countries may impose additional local taxes such as excise tax or consumption tax, which shall be borne solely by the buyer. Delivery time varies by destination. For EU customers, import VAT is handled via IOSS. For UK customers, UK import VAT and customs duties may apply as required by UK customs rules. We will send tracking information once your parcel is dispatched.
4. UK & EU 14-Day Right of Withdrawal (Cooling-off Period)
For UK & EU consumers, you have the legal right to withdraw from this contract within 14 calendar days after you receive the goods, without giving any reason. To exercise this right, send us a clear written notice by email. After cancellation notification, you must return the goods to our designated return address. You are responsible for the return shipping cost. Goods must be returned in original, unused condition, with all packaging intact. If the returned items are damaged due to your handling, we may deduct the loss from your refund. Refund will be processed within 14 days after we receive returned goods.
UK & EU customers: You have a statutory 14-day cooling-off period to return goods for any reason.
Customers from other regions: We offer a voluntary 14-day free return service subject to our return terms. We will evaluate all return requests in accordance with this policy.
5. Warranty & Product Guarantee (EU & UK Mandatory 2-Year Legal Warranty)
EU and UK consumers enjoy a minimum 2-year legal warranty against manufacturing defects from the date of delivery. This warranty covers factory defects, not damage caused by dropping, improper use, thermal shock, scratches or normal wear from daily use. If you receive broken or defective items, please contact us with photos within 7 days after delivery for resolution.
6. Intellectual Property
All texts, images, logos and designs on Qiyuan Teaset website are protected by copyright. You may not copy, redistribute or reuse our website content without written permission.
7. Limitation of Liability
We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from product use. Our total maximum liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for your order. This clause does not limit liability that cannot be excluded under mandatory EU and UK consumer law.
8. Online Dispute Resolution (ODR)
The European Commission provides an online dispute resolution platform for EU consumers: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. For UK consumers, you can access the UK government’s dispute resolution service. You may use these platforms to resolve consumer disputes. We are willing to participate in out-of-court dispute resolution for consumer claims.
9. Governing Law
For EU consumers, mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence apply. For UK consumers, mandatory UK consumer protection laws apply. All other disputes shall be governed by applicable international trade rules, excluding CISG.
10. Amendments
We may update these terms from time to time. Changes take effect once published on this page. Continued website use after updates means you accept the revised terms.
11. Safety Notice
Most of our products are fragile ceramic ware. Please keep them out of the reach of children to avoid breakage and cuts. We shall not be responsible for accidents caused by improper storage or handling.
